Shalom to all the supporters of the Courage to Refuse.
These are extremely difficult times. Useless madness, violence and bloodshed are running rampant around us. The future seems even darker. This is the time to act. The Officers and Combatants’ Letter (The Courage to Refuse) group held a large convention on April 5, 2002, where we decided to continue our activity and the struggle to change the situation.
Many of you have written to us and asked if you can help. You can help, and your offer is warmly welcomed. The following are several possible modes of action for those who want to help us:
1. Write letters to those serving prison sentences. There are many (24) of us who have been sent to prison for refusal and it is very important and encouraging to receive letters of suport in prison. The addresses are attached as a rtf file.
2. You can help fund our activities. Please deposit checks or cash or make transfer funds directly to our bank account:

3. The main activty of the Courage to Refuse group will be conducted through regional forums (cells). In these forums, supporters and refusers will work together. The forums are now in different stages of organization and initial activity. The activities planned include demonstrations, petitions and more… If you want to take action with us, this is the place for you. 4. We need lawyers to provide legal aid for those standing trial and those in prison. Lawyers are aso allowed almost free access to those in prison, to advise them and provide support. If you are a lawyer or you know a lawyer that would like to help, please contact Chaim Weiss, tel. 054-663982.
5. Encourage your friends and relatives to sign the letter of support on our web site.
